Waist Deep in the Big Muddy
The anti-war activists Jonathan Tasini was looking for during his primary challenge to Hillary Clinton may finally emerge this weekend as the Working Families Party is films an anti-war ad this Saturday in Prospect Park.
They're looking for volunteers to lip sync a Pete Seeger song for the shoot and help "send a message to Washington bring the troops home from Iraq."

Cool. Good to see the WFP is doing more to oppose the war - makes me happy to cast my vote in their column this November.
We need all the help we can get to our troops out of Iraq. The message cannot be loud enough or clear enough. Good work WFP
Is Ratner paying for the shoot too? The WFP is so out of touch with voters, never mind those who oppose the war. The W in WFP should stand for Worthless and the F for the plural of a popular four letter word.
I really liked Pete Seeger's classic "Garbage" which was really written about the WFP's National Campaign where they succeed in Blue States like Mass and Oregon thereby undermining the Democratic Party we all have to establish a national Legislative majority.
If you really want to bring the cultural war up to only 20 years behind the times, why not Public Enemy?
Real sensitive. Holding the shoot on Rosh Hashona!
The Working Families Party was founded by hacks like Bill Lynch to defeat the Liberal Party.
For whatever reason, the Liberal Party is no longer viable.
What is the rationale for the continuance of the WFP, except to undermine the Democratic Party and provide power to Cantor and the select few?
Their recent endorsement of Hillary as an anti-war protest underscores their hypocricy.
