New Beginning

Bill Clinton started his speech at Andrew Cuomo's fund-raiser last night in the Rainbow Room with a humble thank you to the room full of supporters.

"Thank you for supporting Andrew and for supporting Hillary and Eliot giving us, our state a chance to make a new beginning," he said.

After the 19-minute long speech, in which Alan Hevesi's name was not mentioned, Clinton worked his way into the crowd, stopping for photographs and chatting with people about the intracacies of foreign affairs. Reporters who wanted to ask the only president to be impeached in recent memory what he thought of the state comptroller who may yet be impeached, were ignored.
