Barron's "Little Show"
Before the public safety hearing ended, Peter Vallone, Jr. stepped into the hallway to vent about Charles Barron and the heated exchange they had during the committee meeting.
"He's part of the problem," Vallone said. "He incites racial tensions for his own political benefit."
It has become, he said, something of a routine.
"Charlie does this at every hearing, so I expected something like this. And I always give him time to put on his little show."
The two-minute clip is here.

I, and most people of color in this city, beg to differ with Vallone, who lives in in own sheltered, and perhaps heavily fortified, Queens bubble.
His reference to Council Member Barron as "Charlie" and also saying he let's him "put on his little show" is also grossly disrepectful and evokes white, racist southerners use of the term 'boy' to describe grown Black men.
If anybody is a boy in this discourse it's Vallone Jr. who would still be throwing away the garbage at daddy's law firm had the elder Vallone not decided to crown his heir. Vallone, Rivera, Dilan, etc. ... do we need any more reasons to enact Sperm Limits??!!
I like that "sperm-limits".
Barron is an embarrassment.
Maybe to you he is, but to us he is a hero. Get over it whitey.
Vallone called him "Charlie?!"
Oh, the humanity!
A NYC politician inciting racial tensions for political benefit? Vallone is shocked, shocked!
Barron a hero? Give me a break! The guy is an idiot--and it has nothing to do with his race.
Oh wait, maybe I shouldn't say this lest I want to be labeled a racist for criticising a black politician.
Barron is a shameless racial huckster and Vallone gets points for having the balls to point out that the Emperor Jones has no clothes.
How could Blacks expect to get respect when they elect demagogues like Charles (racist pig) Barron, to be their representative.
Everytime he gets tv time, one could always count on him blaming the white man or Cops as oppressing his fellow NY blacks.
Yet, when there are the shootings, muggings, rape, murders committed on blacks by blacks. One never hears Barron admonishing such acts or calling on his people to end these acts. Perhaps, Barron should look in the mirror and see the ugliness that looks back at him.
