Barron: Forget "Conservative" Clintons

Council member and former Black Panther Charles Barron hasn't had any trouble making up his mind about who to support for President in 2008.

There is "no reason," in his opinion, for local elected officials to be flocking to Hillary Clinton.

"For me," he told me, "it's going to be Barack Obama or nobody."

Also, Barron does not buy the idea that Bill Clinton was the "first black President." Not at all. -- Azi Paybarah

Barack should run away from this man as fast as he can. I think an endorsement from Barron is even worse than one from Sharpton at this point.

Setting the Record Straight (not verified) says:

Before Barack Obama or any of "his people" sit down with Charles Barron, they should very closely read a hateful, ignorant quote spewed by this racial arsonist less than a year ago, as reported by the Brooklyn Papers:

"One hundred percent of the presidents have been white men! One hundred percent of the vice presidents -- white men! Just 42 members of the House are black. And only one senator is black -- some guy named Barack Obama, and I don't know who that is. Some guy they stuck in there."

In other words, Barron's "nobody" endorsement should suit Obama just fine. After all, with new friends like Barron, Obama won't need new enemies.

I tell you the right wing is now so much in love with these guys is crazy. So i don't trust them. Because they are afraid of an Obama win.
