Edwards' New York Crew
Alex Navarro, the communication director of the Working Families Party, is returning to Team Edwards, where he worked in 2004. This time around, Navarro will be doing policy, communications and voter contact. (More info here. [pdf])
Edwards also hired a former aide to City Councilman Jim Gennaro, Brittany Mariotti. Starting April 2, she'll be the Iowa Advance Director for Edwards.

Alex is a strong get for Edwards, and I while I do not know Brittany, she is joining what will be a strong Edwards team in Iowa.
But people should be so shocked, with Peter Hatch having already blazed the trail from Brooklyn to Raleigh. He is a senior guy in the Edwards HQ.
