Brooklyn's favorite son How does does your unknown band get to open for indie-rock messiah Sufjan Stevens? According to a press release penned by the young legend himself, it doesn't hurt to be his "Brooklyn neighbor"--though band-mate and "close friend" are helpful as well. (Mr. Stevens hails from un-hip Kensington). Shara Worden, aka My Brightest Diamond, will be the opening act on Mr. Stevens' newly announced fall tour, which will come home to Townhall on September 29 and 30--complete with brass and string ensembles. - Max Abelson
