Spitzer: Postpone that Hearing!

"While I strongly support development at the Atlantic Yards site," Attorney General Eliot Spitzer wrote in a letter to the Empire State Development Corporation, "... I believe it is appropriate that the public hearing associated with the DEIS, that is now scheduled for August 23, 2006, be postponed for at least 30 days."

A candidate for governor can say what he wants about development projects, but he can't say no to opening up the public process, right?

Norman Oder reports.

Stand up to the poor little rich anti-development kiddies.
