Hillary Piles On

Our junior senator joins the chorus of those calling for extending the public comment period on Atlantic Yards, following City Council Speaker Christine Quinn, the Municipal Art Society and, as we previously reported, Eliot Spitzer. Speaking out for more public input is easy for a politician. In this case it has the added benefit of pushing decisions into the next governor's term in office. Must be that Hillary and Ms. Quinn want to get more campaign contributions from Bruce Ratner. That's why they want to stretch out this process. They'll have more fund raisers for him to write checks to.

Oh and by the way, Ms. Quinn. With all your crowing about lobbyists and stuff, how did you allow record amounts of city councilmembers to have fundraisers right before the city budget. Each event was over run by lobbyists and Ms. Quinn was at most of them glad handing the very same folks she was villifying.

Keep pandering to the wackos and you too will wind up a loser.
