Magical Grand Central Station has some wonderful real estate, but nothing beats Vanderbilt Hall. And nothing beats a 15-foot-tall "white button mushroom cafe" popping up in Vanderbilt Hall. Enter and Eat - New Yorkers will step inside the giant mushroom and one-day café to dine on Sautéed Mushrooms, Confetti Mushroom Herb Egg Wraps, Asian Vegetable and Mushroom Soup and Chicken Marsala, all prepared on site. Local commuters will have the opportunity to learn proper sautéing methods, discover the health benefits of mushrooms, grab giveaways and learn how to enter a "Make It With Mushrooms" contest for the chance to win a grand prize of $5,000. Mushrooms: small but MIGHTY - A serving of 4-5 medium mushrooms provides a mere 20 calories and zero grams of fat, yet it also is an excellent to good source of numerous nutrients including several B vitamins, copper and the antioxidant selenium. Sweet Sauté - Mushrooms are the non-cook's secret ingredient.
