“The thing’s broke!” squealed Moira Camarda to her husband last Valentine’s Day, when her pregnancy test turned up positive—and promptly sent him to Duane Reade for more. The couple had been trying to conceive for the better part of their five-year marriage: fertility treatments, the whole deal …. Thirty-eight weeks after spotting that second pink line, Ms. Camarda gave birth to this creamy-skinned, dark-haired cutie pie—the first grandchild on both sides of the family. The affable infant is sharing a room in Carroll Gardens with his Irish-American mom, 30, an administrator at Mitsubishi, and his Italian-American pop, Anthony Camarda, also 30, a longshoreman for the New York City container terminal. “I can’t wait to start spoiling him,” Ms. Camarda said, already anticipating their happy Christmas.
