The hair on this baby boy’s head has stubbornly refused to sprout—as if in open rebellion against his father, Alan Tosler, 39, owner of the Fifth Avenue hair salon Tosler Davis. “He’s a baldy!” lamented his mom, Jennifer Cegielski, 36, Mr. Tosler’s wife of four years and a freelance writer. Un-hirsute Hugo, currently co-sleeping with his parents in their loft bed, joins older sister Violet, 3, who affectionately calls him “Huggie”—perhaps because she has sole custody of the apartment’s lone bedroom (hey, it’s the West Village). “She likes to be the errand girl and get diapers and wipes when need be,” Ms. Cegielski said. The egg-headed newborn recently enjoyed his first Easter-egg hunt at the family’s more spacious weekend home in Columbia County.
