7:36 a.m. 7 pounds, 8 1/2 ounces New York Presbyterian Hospital A ravishing little redhead! Fair-skinned little Ruby loves grabbing for the stuffed toy monkey that rests on her changing table. “She’s really advanced for her age,” said proud father David Messina, 31, a marketing manager at Digitas. “She operates at an 8- or 9-week level.” Maybe that’s because new mom Kim Messina, also 31, teaches nursery school, at Temple Shaaray Tefila on 79th Street. Married two years, the couple walked 15 blocks to the hospital through the pouring rain after labor began. “We thought that it would be a good way to pass time,” Mr. Messina said. “It didn’t help.” Though the family’s Upper East Side has two bedrooms, the baby is currently sleeping next to her parents in a bassinet. “I’m so tired,” Ms. Messina said, “I don’t even know what I just said.”
