 <description><![CDATA[<!--paging_filter--><p>The Media Mob has learned that <a href="http://www.naomiklein.org/main">Naomi Klein</a>, the liberal Canadian author (most recently of <em>The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism</em>)  recently turned down an invitation to appear on Comedy Central's <em>The Colbert Report</em>, which is set to return to the air, sans striking writers, on Monday, Jan. 7.
