VH1 has yet another fashion-themed reality show coming this fall. The subtly titled Glam God is brought to you from stylist Phillip Bloch and Vivica A. Fox, and will crown the next celebrity stylist.
In an interview with an Israeli newspaper, Katie Couric compared herself to Hillary Clinton, claiming that sexism is more tolerated than racism.
Lauren Conrad, who just last week bailed on a Humane Society charity event, has reportedly continued her diva behavior in the Hamptons this past weekend. After flying in via chopper to host a party at Lily Pond, Ms. Conrad arrived late and was anti-social. read more »

Scandal in Celebrity Pet Land: Why Did Hills Star Mess Humane Society Event?

Controversy continues to dog Lauren Conrad after yesterday's reports of the Hills "star" bailing on a Humane Society charity event called Paws for Style. New details including Ms. Conrad's response to critics continue to emerge.

Ms. Conrad was supposed to headline the event, organized by the Humane Society and Animal Fair Magazine, and walk the runway with her dog Chloe in a dress of her own design. Ms. Conrad showed up for the red-carpet, and even told Daily Transom that if she were a dog, she'd "probbaly be a mutt. They're the cutest."

But then, according to organizers of the event, Ms. Conrad—who arrived with a borrowed dog, not Chloe!—was unhappy with the scene and took off. read more »

Important Politics Update: Lauren Conrad Endorses No One!

O.K., so let's recount the events here. First, Heidi Montag publicly endorsed McCain despite thinking that "no one cares who Heidi Montag votes for." Then McCain endorsed The Hills, saying that he's "honored to have Heidi’s support" and that he never misses an episode of the show, "especially since the new season started." read more »

Over The Hills?

Here’s a brilliant idea: You know what would make the conspicuously scripted MTV reality drama, The Hills, better? Old People!

Over the Hills—“a word for word reenactment of The Hills using elderly actors”—is produced by Heavy.com, a video site whose head of programming happens to be former Maxim editor Jimmy Jellinek. Maybe it’s the maturity factor or the lack of reliance on deadpan stares for dramatic effect, but the geriatric version of The Hills is actually ... kind of great. read more »
