 <title>WLIW-21 Presents The Jews of New York </title>

 <description><![CDATA[<!--paging_filter--><p>On Jan. 9, PBS stations around the country will begin airing a new three-part <a href="http://pressroom.pbs.org/programs/the_jewish_americans">documentary</a> called <em>The Jewish Americans</em>, narrated by Liev Schreiber, chronicling 350 years of the Jewish American experience of immigration and assimilation in the U.S. from the 17th century to the present.</p>
<p>Eleven days later, WLIW-21 will debut a sidecar documentary, called <em>The Jews of New York</em>. <span class='read-more'><a href="http://www.observer.com/2008/wliw-21-presents-jews-new-york">&nbsp;read&nbsp;more&nbsp;&raquo;</a></span></p>]]></description>
