One Hanson Place Clock to Get Ticking Tomorrow

The former Williamsburgh Bank Tower at One Hanson Place, Brooklyn’s tallest building, will see its clock tick once again tomorrow at the stroke of noon, developer Dermot Company spokeswoman Barbara Wagner told The Observer.

Move-ins start tomorrow for the converted tower's condos. As for the clock, Brooklyn has been without a 500-foot-high timepiece for more than a year as it underwent renovations.

Why noon? Perhaps convenience was a factor, as the clock’s arms have been resting at the 12:00 position as they awaited repairs.
