Chuck Schumer wore a blue suit for the occasion, which he told C-SPAN was meant to commemorate the message delivered by voters in this year's election.
But in an item he wrote on the Huffington Post, he struck a more bipartisan tone:
"We are ready to work with Republicans in Congress and the Administration. We realize that's the only way things can get done."
I get the feeling he's enjoying this.
