Mamaroneck

John Edwards had a busy morning helping nurse Elaine Ellis around a senior center in Mamaroneck this morning, part of an awareness-raising event with SEIU 1199.

According to a pool report from Helen Kennedy of the Daily News:

Dressed in jeans and a dark blue shirt, Edwards ate breakfast with Ellis and then joined her on her rounds at the home for a few hours. He shaved and dressed an elderly resident, rubbed some ointment into his legs. He helped dress some female residents and wheeled them down to breakfast, where he and Ellis served them oatmeal. Most of them didn't know who he was, or what was going on exactly.
