A Chorus Line is Saved By the Bell With Slater!
Hey preppie! Saved by the Bell beefcake Mario Lopez will be making his Broadway debut in the Schoenfeld Theatre's revival of A Chorus Line. Staring April 15, the guy formerly known as A.C. Slater from Saved by the Bell who made soccer moms swoon during his recent stint on Dancing With the Stars, will star as Zach, A Chrous Lines' "rarely-seen director," according to Playbill. Mr. Lopez succeeds Michael Berresse, who originated the role of Zach in the Broadway revival of the popular backstage musical. A.C. fans with his Tiger Beat-like centerfold still on their wall are warned: he'll will be on hiatus from A Chorus Line May 11-June 3.
