A year after he first started interviewing, Dan Colarusso has the job he probably wishes he had taken in the first place.

Portfolio announced today that Colarusso, the former city editor of The New York Post, has been hired to run its Web site. Running Portfolio.com was the job Mr. Colarusso was interviewing for before he got bumped up from the Post's business editor to its city editor in Jan. 2007, said a source at Portfolio.  read more »

Sean Gannon, a former Page Six reporter, and most recently an editor at Star, will soon be joining the New York Post as Business Editor.

Gannon will take the job vacated by Dan Colarusso, who became Metro editor this past January.

A Post spokesperson confirmed that Gannon will be the new Business editor, but declined to comment further.

When contacted by phone, Gannon told The Observer that today is his last day at Star, but declined to comment on his future plans.
