Stop Loss Director Gets Sarris Award
Kimberly Peirce, the director of Stop Loss and Boys Don't Cry, will receive the Andrew Sarris Award during the Columbia University Film Festival on May 9 at the McGraw-Hill Theater. The award honors service and artistic achievement of Columbia alums and the recipient is selected by the school's film students. Ms. Peirce graduated in 1996.
